Digital vs hand drawing experiences

 Nov 1, 2020

Hello,

I assume that you already read my first post which told a little about my background in drawing but if you have not done then please visit Hello😁 after you read this page or when you have a chance.

I will talk about drawing which I experienced from Dtcc in Visual communication program that I earned three majors in two years excluded the semester I studied English as an international student.

In a commencement book displays student's name only one major but I got three certificates in actual.

Yeah! I was in the college website once 😛

Digital drawing, I could say that I am good with it as the program do its work well only sometimes I confused and do not know how to use the tools and command. I could transfer the pictures in my head to be the image on the computer screen nicely. It will be very good piece when I spent much time, long enough to adjust and ensure everything is harmony in one piece.

Hand drawing, this is still difficult for me to do when compare to digital drawing because I must do all complete by myself. If I did a line wrong then the actual eraser being use not undo command as in the digital. When I wanted the very straight line, I could not just command or used the line tool as in digital but I must control my hand or draw bit by bit. Moreover, hand drawing is a big challenge as always for the person like me who had never learned basic drawing but I can do better now than many years ago.

I use  Adobe Illustration at the beginning and later I learned more drawing App such as Autodesk Sketch on my tablet which some could feel as hand drawing on a real paper.

Next time, I will tell what I learn in drawing class and how the instructor taught.
